Will, this is extremely good stuff and so in line with the mission and vision of CO – reaching, building, and launching leaders – I want to add DREAMING in between building and launching after reading this. I love the following – ‘managing dreams’ – i need to do this more as a leader, starting w myself and Aimee. ‘cultivating conversations’ – the dangerous promise – feel like this is critical to the health and longevity of building any organization!
one thing that might be nuanced for us/ campus ministry / young ministers is the need for MODELS – esp of those who dream AND their dreams… so I believe at some level and at some point in the growth of an organization that it’s ok for the leaders dreams to be the leadership team dreams as well as the organizational dreams.
much love and appreciation for your heart and hands for more and better leaders! g’
